Jane Eccles obtained her Bachelor's degree at the University of Guelph.  Her work is currently presented in the collections of the Robert McLaughlin Art Gallery in Oshawa, the McDonald Stewart Art Gallery in Guelph, and the Art Gallery of Peterborough.

Ron Eccles has studied at the Ontario College of Art, and has obtained his Bachelor's degree at the University of Guelph, as well as a Master's degree at the University of Iowa.  He has been presented in solo exhibitions including the Blackwood Gallery in Mississauga, The Art Gallery of Peterborough, and the Art Gallery of Hamilton.  His work is currently represented in the collections of the Canada Council Art Bank, Bell Canada, IBM, the Robert McLaughlin Art Gallery, The Blackwood Gallery, & the University of Guelph.

Presqu'ile Park Christmas Exhibition

Once again, it's time to circle some important dates on your calendar... November 4th, 5th, 8th, 11th and 12th... the dates for the ninth annual Christmas at Presqu'ile Arts and Crafts Show.

If you have never  visited this unique, juried craft sale before, you will be enchanted.  Two beautiful old Presqu'ile Park heritage homes are transformed from Park facilities into Christmas at Presqu'ile.

These two buildings are located in a stunning setting by the Lake at Presqu'ile Provincial Park.  The unique Arts and Crafts are creatively displayed through the main Christmas home (Cousins' Cottage) where volunteers will greet you warmly and help you in every way.

The Christmas at Presqu'ile Committee who begin their work of gathering the "best" of the "best" early each year, report that we can expect yet another outstanding Show.  For the many thousands of visitors who join us each year, this year's unique display of Regional Arts and crafts will not be disappointed.  As in the past, many new artisans have been invited to join and many old favourites invited to return.

After you have enjoyed your visit to Cousins',  you will want to drop in to Stonehedge home (located next door) and enjoy a slice of our famous rum cake served beside a crackling fire.  The young caterers from Belleville's Centennial Secondary School are already hard at work preparing the rum cakes which have become a tradition of the show.

During this special time, admission to the Park is complementary.  There is no charge for the show.  Once you enter Presqu'ile Provincial Park, just follow the signs to Christmas at Presqu'ile!

For more information please call Catherine Clark Chorney at (613) 475-1688.

Your Story In Print:  The Rainbow Youth Anthology
